Starting with the compact options, the GW2490C and GW2490TC are built around a 23.8-inch IPS panel with LED backlighting ๐ก. These displays offer Full HD resolution (1920 ร 1080), 250 nits of brightness, and pixel density of 93 PPI. They ensure accurate visuals with 99 percent sRGB color coverage ๐จ, 16.7 million display colors, and wide 178-degree viewing angles ๐. Both models feature a matte screen coating to reduce glare and support HDCP 1.4.
For those requiring more screen real estate ๐, the GW2790C and GW2790TC utilize a larger 27-inch IPS LED panel. While maintaining the Full HD resolution and 99 percent sRGB coverage, these models bump the brightness up to 300 nits โ๏ธ. They offer a pixel density of 82 PPI, the same wide viewing angles, and a matte finish. Notably, the GW2790TC model adds further customization options, supporting gamma adjustment from 1.8 to 2.6 as well as BenQโs Advanced Motion Accelerator (AMA) โ๏ธ.
Performance is a key focus across the entire series โก. All four monitors deliver a smooth 144Hz refresh rate paired with a 5ms response time. Users can switch between various dedicated modesโincluding Standard, Game ๐น๏ธ, ePaper ๐, Care, and Cinema ๐ฌโto suit their current task. Gaming performance is further enhanced by AMD FreeSync support ๐. On the audio front, the monitors are equipped with dual 2W speakers ๐ and a dedicated headphone jack ๐ง.
Connectivity is versatile ๐, with every model housing one HDMI 1.4 port and one DisplayPort 1.2 port. The primary distinction lies in the USB-C capabilities. The โCโ variants include a USB-C port that handles DisplayPort Alt Mode and data transfer, though it lacks power delivery. The โTCโ variants upgrade this experience, offering a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, data transfer, and up to 20W power delivery ๐ for charging connected devices ๐ฑ.
Ergonomics also set the models apart ๐งโโ๏ธ. The โTCโ variants are designed for flexibility, featuring a fully adjustable stand that allows for a tilt of -5 to 35 degrees, a swivel of ยฑ45 degrees, a 90-degree pivot ๐, and 150 mm of height adjustment ๐. In contrast, the standard โCโ models offer a simpler setup with tilt functionality ranging from -5 to 20 degrees.
