During CES 💻, Dolby Laboratories announced that Peacock will be rolling out Dolby Vision 👁️ and Atmos support across a wider range of live sporting events 🏅 throughout the year. Hailed as a “groundbreaking evolution” 🚀 when Dolby introduced it at IFA 2025, Vision 2 is engineered for modern displays 🖥️, utilizing AI 🤖 to automatically calibrate the picture based on both the content and your viewing environment 🏠. On the audio front, the service is adopting AC-4 🎧, a new format that Dolby claims will deliver the highest possible audio quality 🎶 “at a much lower bandwidth than other formats.” 📶
