Amazon has officially outlined the final chapter for New World: Aeternum . Following the October announcement that support for the MMO is winding down, the company confirmed that the current Nighthaven season will be its last . Effective today, the game has been delisted and is no longer available for purchase . However, the servers will not go dark immediately ; they are scheduled to remain online until January 31, 2027 . Existing owners can continue to play through the extended Nighthaven season until that date .

Players who have previously purchased New World: Aeternum will retain the ability to re-download and access the game up until the shutdown . Changes to the in-game economy are also approaching , with the purchase of Marks of Fortune currency set to end on July 20, 2026 . Amazon has stated that no refunds will be offered for Marks of Fortune purchases .
