Motorola has begun building anticipation for its next Edge series smartphone in India, and all indicators point toward the imminent arrival of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion.

One teaser engaged in clever wordplay regarding “fusion,” accompanied by glimpses of a new handset featuring bright, textured finishes. Shortly thereafter, Flipkart launched a dedicated promotional page bearing the tagline, “a fusion that gives you the edge.” At this stage, the device’s identity is all but confirmed.

The Flipkart microsite validates three specific colorways for the Indian market: Pantone Blue Surf , Pantone Country Air , and Pantone Silhouette . All three appear to sport Motorola’s signature leather-inspired textured back, a design element that has become a staple of the brand’s recent Edge lineup.

Although earlier international leaks hinted at a broader palette of five Pantone shades—including Orient Blue and Sporting Green—it appears that India will receive a more curated selection at launch.

Aesthetically, the design adheres to Motorola’s proven formula: curved display edges, slim bezels, and a distinctive camera module that seamlessly blends into the rear panel.

On the optical front, one confirmed detail is the inclusion of a “LYTIA camera,” which almost certainly points to a Sony LYTIA sensor. Current reports suggest the primary shooter will be a 50MP unit designed for superior low-light performance.

Regarding the processor, the narrative has shifted. While earlier rumors suggested the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, more recent leaks—including marketing renders and benchmark listings—indicate the phone may debut with the newer Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. If accurate, this would offer modest CPU and GPU upgrades, alongside improved power efficiency compared to its predecessor.

While the full specification sheet awaits official validation, leaks paint a picture of an ambitious mid-range contender. The Edge 70 Fusion is rumored to feature:
