A new report from Windows Latest has provided a set of leaked renders purporting to be the upcoming Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Detachable. According to the report, the device is scheduled to debut at MWC 2026, taking place in Barcelona from March 2nd through the 5th.
A first glimpse of the Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Detachable
Visually, the most immediate update is found in the display. Lenovo appears to have refined the bezels seen on the ThinkPad X12 Detachable, allowing the screen size to increase slightly from 12.3 inches to a full 13 inches.
Unmistakably a ThinkPad, the design prioritizes the practical needs of business users. The renders depict the X13 Detachable with USB-C charging ports located on both sides, while retaining the reliable 3.5mm headphone jack and a Kensington lock slot.
Notably, the bottom panel reveals four visible screws—a detail suggesting that repairability has not been overlooked. This is a significant inclusion for the detachable category, where chassis are often sealed shut.
While specific performance metrics remain under wraps, we can make an educated guess regarding the internals. As the previous generation utilized Intel’s Core Ultra 7 processor, it is highly probable that this version will be powered by Intel Panther Lake chips.
