Samsung has announced ambitious plans to become the first manufacturer to natively integrate Google Photos directly into its television sets. By pairing the service with its Vision AI Companion —essentially a supercharged version of Bixby —Samsung hopes to weave personal memories into the daily viewing experience . The goal is for user photos to surface naturally while navigating the operating system, popping up during what the company describes as “contextual and convenient moments.”

According to the company, this integration will allow users to engage with their photo libraries through three distinct new experiences 3⃣. The first, dubbed “Memories,” focuses on curated stories highlighting specific people , locations , and meaningful life events . Scheduled to launch in March 2026 , this feature will remain exclusive to Samsung screens for a six-month window .

Later in the year, the “Create with AI” feature is expected to arrive . Powered by Google DeepMind’s advanced image generation and editing models , this tool will let users artistically transform their pictures using themed templates. Beyond static edits, the technology promises the ability to animate still images , converting them into short videos . This feature is slated for release in the second half of 2026 .

Rounding out the trio of new features is “Personalized Results,” which also targets a launch in the latter part of 2026. This function generates themed slideshows by analyzing image content or specific topics. Samsung provided examples such as hiking trips , ocean views , or vacations in Paris to illustrate how the system organizes collections automatically .
