Mijia Giant Power Saver 2026 AC Specifications
Unsurprisingly, the standout feature of this new model is its remarkable energy efficiency. The 2026 edition boasts an Annual Performance Factor (APF) of 5.36, securing Chinaβs top-tier Level 1 energy efficiency rating. According to Xiaomiβs estimates, this rating translates to an annual electricity savings of about 208 kWh when compared to older modelsβputting roughly 124 yuan ($18) back into consumersβ pockets each year.
To achieve these impressive metrics, the air conditioner is equipped with a 9.8cc compressor, a dual-row evaporator, and a substantial 108mm cross-flow fan. This hardware combination allows the unit to circulate up to 760 cubic meters of air per hour. Impressively, Xiaomi claims it takes a mere three minutes for a standard-sized room to reach the userβs desired temperature.
On the software side, the AC is powered by Xiaomiβs Mijia Lingyun control engine. This intelligent system utilizes cloud-based learning to adapt its cooling and heating cycles to your personal routines. During the night, for instance, it automatically adjusts the temperature to maintain optimal comfort while conserving power. Naturally, it pairs seamlessly with the Mijia app and features Xiaomiβs HyperOS Connect, ensuring smooth integration into broader smart home ecosystems.

In keeping with modern smart appliance trends, the device supports over-the-air (OTA) updates. Xiaomi promises to continuously refine the unitβs energy-saving algorithms and roll out new features over its lifespan. Additionally, a robust built-in diagnostic system continuously runs 122 different health checks. Should the filter require cleaning or the refrigerant dip too low, the companion app will proactively alert the user well before a breakdown occurs.
Maintenance is largely hands-off thanks to a self-cleaning function that washes and subsequently dries the internal components at a high 58 degrees Celsius, effectively staving off mold and bacteria. The system is also remarkably resilient, engineered to function in extreme outdoor climates ranging from a freezing -35 degrees Celsius to a blistering 60 degrees Celsius. For light sleepers, the indoor unit can operate at a whisper-quiet 18 decibels during the night.
In related developments, Xiaomi also recently expanded its home appliance lineup with the launch of the Mijia Air Conditioner Powerful Wind Pro, a new AI-powered split air conditioning unit.
