DJI has officially unveiled the Neo 2 🛸, a featherweight 151-gram drone 🪶 designed for creators who prioritize portability and ease of use 🤳. A compact display located next to the camera clearly indicates the current shooting mode 📸. The device allows for immediate operation, lifting off directly from the user’s palm ✋ simply by pointing it inward and pressing the takeoff button 🚀. Once the flight is complete, the Return to Palm feature ensures the drone navigates back to the user’s hand for a safe, effortless landing 🛬.

Gesture Control represents a significant leap in usability 👐. By holding up a single palm, pilots can steer the drone left or right and adjust altitude ⬆️⬇️, while using both palms controls the distance, bringing the drone closer or pushing it away ↔️. Even the camera angle can be tweaked without a physical remote 🎮. The Neo 2 also supports voice commands via smartphone or Bluetooth headphones 🗣️🎧, though users seeking longer range can connect to the DJI RC N3 controller for video transmission up to 10 km 📡.

For a more immersive experience, the drone pairs with DJI’s motion controller and goggles for a full FPV setup 🥽. It relies on a 12 MP 1/2-inch CMOS sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, utilizing a new 2-axis gimbal to maintain stable footage 🎞️. The camera captures 4K video at up to 100 fps for slow-motion playback 📽️ and supports 2.7K vertical recording 📱. With ActiveTrack and SelfieShot, the Neo 2 autonomously frames subjects, switching seamlessly between waist-up, full-body, and long shots 👤. In open areas, it can track movement at speeds up to 12 meters per second across eight directions, including diagonals ⚡.

Creative staples like Dolly Zoom, QuickShots, and MasterShots return, offering presets such as Dronie, Circle, Rocket, Spotlight, Helix, and Boomerang 🎢 to produce social-ready videos with ease 📱✨.

To assist beginners 🔰, the Neo 2 is equipped with omnidirectional monocular vision, forward LiDAR, and downward infrared sensors for robust obstacle detection 👁️. Built-in propeller guards offer additional safety 🛡️, while hovering and positioning have been refined for smoother flights indoors or near complex environments like buildings and water 🏙️🌊.

In terms of performance, the drone boasts level 5 wind resistance 🌬️, a maximum flight time of 19 minutes 🔋, and 49 GB of internal storage 💾. Transferring footage is efficient, with Wi-Fi speeds reaching up to 80 MB per second via the DJI Fly app 📲.

Pricing 💰

The Neo 2 enters the market at 239 euros 💶. The Fly More Combo (drone only) is priced at 329 euros, the complete Fly More Combo is 399 euros, and the extensive Motion Fly More Combo is available for 579 euros 📦.

Explore Bradley the Badger, a meta-gaming adventure where a platformer hero enters a multiverse of unfinished games using developer tools to warp reality.

Amid the deluge of trailers at The Game Awards 🏆, the comedic charm of Bradley the Badger truly distinguished itself from the pack ✨. The concept echoes Wreck-It Ralph 🤜💥, centering on the protagonist of a fictional platformer who is suddenly thrust into a multiverse of unfinished projects 🌀. The trailer showcases a delightful array of “badger-ified” homages to titles like Bloodborne 🩸, Cyberpunk 2077 🤖, and The Last of Us 🌿. Beyond just exploring, Bradley wields a suite of developer tools 🛠️ that allow him to modify these incomplete worlds, offering a gameplay loop that simulates the creative process 🎨. The teaser concludes with a meta twist as Bradley breaches reality to confront an actual developer 🤯. It promises to be a humorous, self-referential experience; if it can capture the same magic as Astro Bot 🚀, we are in for a treat 🍬.

“Bradley is part love letter to videogames and part satire of them 💌,” explains Christian Cantamessa, co-founder of Day 4 Night Studios 🏢. “Games are an art form and this is a story inspired by our adventures making them.” The studio boasts serious pedigree 🎖️; Cantamessa and fellow co-founder Davide Soliani have shaped industry titans ranging from Red Dead Redemption 🤠 and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor ⚔️ to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle 🍄🐰. Adding star power to the project, Evan Peters 🌟—known for the recent X-Men films and Tron: Ares—lends his voice to the titular badger 🎙️🦡.

Currently, the team plans to release the game on Steam ♨️. While console versions may follow 🎮, no official release window has been announced yet ⏳.

The XREAL 1S arrives as the world’s first AR glasses featuring automatic 2D-to-3D video conversion 🕶️🎥🪄

Published

Meet the XREAL 1S: the first AR glasses with auto 2D-to-3D video conversion. Lightweight 82g design, Sony OLED displays, and 120Hz refresh rate.

# XREAL 1S

XREAL is closing out 2025 by expanding its lineup with the XREAL 1S, a new entry-level model 🆕📅. Positioning itself just below the premium XREAL One Pro announced back in July, this device claims a unique title: it is the first in its category to provide automatic 2D-to-3D conversion 🏆✨.

Weighing in at a lightweight 82 grams 🪶, the headset utilizes dual 0.68-inch Sony OLED microdisplays. These panels deliver a crisp resolution of 1920×1200 per eye and support a fluid refresh rate of up to 120Hz ⚡📺.

Engaging the signature 2D-to-3D mode does come with a trade-off, dropping the refresh rate to 30Hz 📉. However, the glasses aim to maintain a stable visual experience with a 52-degree field of view, brightness peaking at 700 nits ☀️, and high color fidelity rated at ΔE < 3 🎨.

Powering these capabilities is XREAL’s proprietary X1 spatial computing chip 🧠🚀. The company claims this silicon keeps latency down to just 3ms—a critical factor for the 1S’s 3DoF head tracking, ensuring the virtual screen remains firmly anchored in place even as you look around 📍👓.

According to XREAL product manager Takao Takayama 🗣️, this new 3D conversion technology won’t remain exclusive to the 1S; it is scheduled to arrive on the existing XREAL One and One Pro models via a software update near the 1S release window 🔄📲.

The hardware also includes several quality-of-life refinements 🛠️. The audio system is tuned by Bose 🎧, accompanied by a four-microphone array 🎙️. Visually, the lenses offer variable light transmittance, automatically shifting between 0%, 35%, and 100% depending on the desired level of immersion 🌓. The 1S is available in a single colorway: Silent Blue 🔵.

XREAL Neo 🔋

Debuting alongside the headset is the XREAL Neo, a dedicated mobile battery pack designed specifically for AR workflows ⚡💼. Priced at 14,580 yen, it is set to hit shelves in late January 🗓️💴.

#image_title

The Neo packs a 10,000mAh capacity and features dual USB-C ports, allowing it to pass video signals to the glasses while simultaneously charging a smartphone 📱🔌. Notably, it also functions as a portable dock for the Nintendo Switch, including support for the upcoming Switch 2 🎮🕹️.

For those looking to pick up the complete kit, XREAL is offering a bundle comprising the 1S and the Neo for 76,560 yen—a savings of roughly 6,000 yen compared to purchasing them individually 💰🎁. Early adopters will also receive the XREAL Hub as a pre-order bonus 🎊.
